Turn 5 under maintenance, again. :(

We have confirmed that the Binding Coil of Bahamut – Turn 5 is continuing to experience issues after the Oct. 15, 2013 update wherein the monster becomes immobilised under certain circumstances. For this reason, until this issue has been addressed, the Binding Coil of Bahamut – Turn 5 will be temporarily unavailable.

Please note that the Binding Coil of Bahamut - Turn 5 is the only instance that will be closed. Players will be free to continue challenging the Binding Coil of Bahamut - Turns 1 through 4.

We are currently hard at work on confirming and implementing the solution for this issue. We will make a follow-up announcement as soon as the date and time for recovery is set.

We deeply apologise for the continued inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Followup:

The current issues wherein the Binding Coil of Bahamut – Turn 5 the monster becomes immobilized under certain circumstances, we are still undergoing investigation.

We are sorry that this will not be resolved with the maintenance implemented from Oct. 16, 2013 11:00 p.m. until Oct. 17, 2013 1:20 a.m. We are currently working on the issue as fast as we can, and we wish our players to wait a while longer to start challenging again.

We will notify the time and date as soon as it is available.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

I just want a boss fight that has static mechanics, that we can progress on and feel like we are getting closer to a kill.

Greetings,
We understand that the mechanics of Twintania are a very hot topic in the community currently and I would like to clarify a couple of things.
First, I would like to clarify something about the bug report flow as we've seen many comments about this in the past. Bugs that have been moved to the "Accepted Bugs" forum are those that have sufficient information to be investigated. Although a reported bug was moved to the "Accepted Bug" forum does not mean that what was reported is an actual confirmed bug. Apologies for any confusion related to this process.
Next, there have been a lot of comments about how surviving Twintania's "Twister" ability is seemingly random. Please know that it is not random and that the development team has adjusted the difficulty of this battle to be of the highest level that is in the game currently. With that said though, it was still designed to be beaten. While we definitely cannot comment on strategy, we believe that a valiant group will be able to defeat Twintania.
